The Libertines-
The Libertines are of the same genre as Arctic Monkeys. So this examples gives us a good insight into the generic conventions of an indie website.

The Last Shadow Puppets-
The Last Shadow Puppets are a band made up of Miles Kane, ogrinally from The Rascals, and Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys. I thought it would be interesting to analyse the website of The Last Shadow Puppets as it will show another side to Alex Turner. This band already have quite a mainstream audience as both The Rascals and Arctic Monkeys have a large fanbase already established, so they don't need to promote themselves as much as a fresh and brand new band would have to.
